Admission

SECTION I-ADMISSION POLICY

  1. No applicant shall be enrolled in the college unless he complies with specific requirements for admission prescribed by the Commission on Higher Education for which purpose, he must present to the Registrar the necessary credentials before the end of the enrollment period.
  2. The applicant must submit the following:
    1. True copy of the High School Record(F137A)
    2. Certification of good moral character by the Class Adviser or Guidance Counselor
    3. Photocopy of the Birth Certificate
    4. ID pictures

For College Transferees:

          •  Transcript of records of the college last attended/Transfer Credential
          •  Photocopy of the Civil Birth Certificate
          •  ID pictures

SECTION II-ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS AND PROCEDURES

  1. ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS

   The following are needed for enrollment:

    1. School ID ( for old students)
    2. Copy of grades during the last semester of attendance
    3. Certification of grades for evaluation purposes (for transferees)
  1. ENROLLMENT PROCEDURES

               1. The student credentials shall first be evaluated by the Registrar.
               2. Proceed to the Accounting office to secure Registration form
               3. Fill up the Registration Form
               4. With the accomplished Registration Form, the student shall proceed to the Registrar's Office for approval of his registration.
               5. Proceed to the Accounting Office for assessment of fees.
               6. Apply for a ID at the ID section.

SECTION III-STUDENT CLASSIFICATION

          Students enrolled in the College are classified by year level in the curriculum and according to the degree programs as follows:

          •  Year-level classification
          •  Freshman
          •  Sophomore
          •  Junior
          •  Senior
          •  Section Classification
                    IA.IB.IC.ID…
                    IIA,IIB,IIC….

          Since student is encouraged to enroll in a block section. He is also classified as follows

•  Regular Student- is one who does not have any advanced or back subjects,and/or no incomplete grade and will be enrolling in some subjects in the semester of his year-level course.

•  Irregular Student- is one who has an advanced or back subject and/or an incomplete grade and will be enrolling in some subjects in the semester of his year-level course.

          A Student may also be classified as a:

1. Transferee- one who has been officially admitted by the college after spending a semester/year level course in another school other than PCST.

2. Returnee-one who took an official leave of absence from the college and whose readmission has been approved by the Director of Admission.

Scholarship Grants

1.Academic Scholarships

     a. New Students-Valedictorians and Salutatorians are given 100% and 50% waiver on tution fees, respectively, provided they meet the conditions set by the committee on scholarship.

     b.Old student who are awarded scholarship should maintain an average 85% including NSTP and PE.

2.PCSF- (Pangasinan Colleges Scholarship Foundation)

3. PESFA- Private Education Scholarship Fund Assistance

4. SEAP/NISEP-Secondary Education Assistance Office

5. PVAO- Philippine Veterans Assistance Office

6 SNPL- Study Now Pay Later

7. SSP- Student Scholarship Program
