Tri- weekly is a celebration of the accomplishment of a PACE in every subject within a three-week span of every quarter. Students usually have 7 to 8 subjects in the elementary program and 6 in junior high school. The goal of every student is to finish at least 1 PACE per subject for that period of time. The tri-weekly activity is a motivational tool to encourage students to finish set academic requirements so they can be rewarded an extra day of fun and excitement. The Tri-weekly is a free day of doing less academic work for students to enjoy the fruit of their hard work. Teachers carefully plan a set of activities for their students on that set date which happen twice every quarter.
Students look forward to every tri- weekly activity. It encourages them to be more productive and develop a sense of responsibility that what is set should be done and finished. Once they do, they know that their efforts will be rewarded. 1 Corinthians 15:58 (KJV) states, “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.’’ The
Tri-weekly activity becomes a learning tool for students to understand that they should do their best to accomplish each task, knowing that it is for God’s glory.
